Ludwig van Beethoven
Symphonie n° 9
To celebrate Beethoven, Insula orchestra has to think big. Choosing to fully embrace the grandeur of his 9th Symphony, a monument of music history, Laurence Equilbey calls upon world class soloists and doubles the number of wind instrument, as was done in Beethoven’s time. 40 singers and 80 musicians work together to celebrate this call to fraternity and its grand finale, “Ode to Joy”.
