Although he only wrote one concerto for the clarinet, Mozart was particularly fond of this instrument. Leading Insula orchestra, Laurence Equilbey will conduct this lyrical and inspired score in partnership with the virtuosic Pierre Génisson, who plays a period clarinet. Written almost ten years prior, the impetuous “Haffner” Symphony entices us with its Viennese charms and impresses us with its great vitality..
