Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Symphonie concertante pour violon et alto
Symphonie n° 39
Insula orchestra and Laurence Equilbey journey back to their first love with the Sinfonia Concertante, which marked their debut as an ensemble. At the crossroads of a concerto and a symphony, this piece centres on a wonderful dialogue between violin and viola, played by Alexandra Conunova and Adrien La Marca. As an echo, his 39th Symphony hides bold harmonies that open the way for Romantic music.
