Franz Schubert
Symphonie n° 4 « Tragique »
Messe solennelle en la bémol
⚠️ CANCELLATION ⚠️
Due to the measures taken in the context of the health crisis, we regret to announce the cancellation of the SCHUBERT, SOLEMN MASS concert.
Essential in Schubert’s musical career, the Solemn Mass in A-flat marks a break with his four previous masses. More emancipated, it testifies to the great maturity of the composer, who was only 25 years old when he wrote it. Laurence Equilbey and Insula orchestra echo his Symphony No. 4 called “Tragic”, which already displays a similar theatricality, far from the intimate Schubert of the Lieder.
