A fight for peace
A world premiere! For the first time at La Seine Musicale, Beethoven Wars combines classical music with manga and science fiction in an immersive space opera.
Immerse yourself in a manga box! A team of over 20 graphic designers have created an impressive show for Beethoven Wars, blending seinen manga with extraordinary landscapes worthy of Star Wars. Thanks to a giant curved screen, specially built for the occasion, spectators will be immersed in the action.
On stage, over 100 musicians and singers interpret Beethoven's music and bring the images to life. Emotions guaranteed!
STORY
On a distant planet, Stephan and Gisèle face the end of a world devastated by war. Two enemy peoples embark on a space quest that will bring them back to Earth, after epic intergalactic battles set to the music of Beethoven. Will they succeed in bringing peace and harmony to mankind?
The story is freely inspired by the librettos of Beethoven's two stage musicals, King Stephan and The Ruins of Athens.
