Alongside the accentus choir, Insula orchestra invites us to a beautiful experience of French music and spirituality. In his moving Requiem, Gabriel Fauré expresses a peaceful vision of death, enhanced on stage by the installation of visual artist Mat Collishaw. Through his work Saint François d’Assise, the manuscript of which was rediscovered in the 1990’s, Charles Gounod gifts us a clean and refined score that goes straight to the heart.
